MORA (Midwest Organization for Resilience and Accessibility) Visit

At Art, Heart & Hoofbeats (AHH), we are committed to creating opportunities for accessible art and nature-based experiences for individuals with disabilities. Through our partnership with MORA (Midwest Organization for Resilience and Accessibility), we are fostering meaningful connections between people, animals, and creative expression.

Currently, we are collaborating on a mosaic project funded by the Minnesota State Arts Board, giving participants the chance to contribute to a lasting work of art while exploring their creativity. In addition, MORA participants regularly visit AHH, engaging in hands-on activities that go beyond just learning about animal care. These visits empower individuals to:

• Connect with rescue horses and nature in a supportive and inclusive environment.

• Learn and practice animal husbandry skills, fostering confidence and responsibility.

• Take on leadership roles by teaching others and sharing their knowledge.

• Discover their own strengths and abilities, building self-empowerment through hands-on experiences.
